LPS 2007 Board of Education Election

The Littleton Public Schools 2007 Board of
Education election was held on November 6,
2007. Mail-in ballots were mailed to each active eligible elector. The
election filled the vacancies caused by the upcoming departures of two
incumbents: John Dunn (first elected in 2003; flier [PDF 272KB])
and term-limited Diana Holland (reelected in 2003; flier
[PDF 229KB]). The other three incumbents
are Sue Chandler (first elected in 2005; flier [PDF 38KB]),
Bob Colwell (first elected in 2005; flier
[PDF 118KB]), and Renée
Howell (first elected in 2005; flier
[PDF 217KB]).
The terms for the two newly-elected
school board members are for four years and began at the November
27 Board meeting.
School board candidates filed "Fair Campaign Practices Act" (FCPA) information
with the Littleton Public Schools Chief Financial Officer (the designated
election official), 5776 South Crocker Street,
